In honor of Valentines day, and love, I decided to reflect on my perfect to me wedding! We got married in 2016 in Punta Cana, Domincan.
Must Haves:
I consider myself a pretty casual bride. There wasn’t too many demands that I had but I knew what I wanted, and for the most part we made them work!

Small Details:
While I didn’t go over the top, I still wanted to have personal touches to our non local wedding. Due to many different reasons, a lot of our friends and family couldn’t attend. It was important to me to have things that represent us there, while everyone took the time and money to travel out of country for us.

Important People:
While every single person who attended was important to us, there is a couple strong memories for our special day.
My cousin, my best friend. Growing up she has always been by my side and it made sense to have her there for my wedding day as well. Lots of close people could not make it, and out of the wedding party I chose, this girl made it there for me and I am forever grateful to have her next to me, for life!
The biggest moment for me while planning my wedding, along with other life events, has been the loss of my dad at a young age. Doesn’t every girl want her dad to walk her down the isle? As much as I thought about it, my older brother made the most sense to walk me down the isle. I still look back at pictures and feel teary-eyed that I got at least that. My dad would be happy.

Reception:
To us, we collectively agreed this was the most important part of the day. The party. We had a Caribbean buffet, our first dance to Steve Aoki-Home we’ll go, accompanied by glow sticks and a good time.
Such an amazing time, amazing memories, with the most amazing people! Thank you to everyone who took the time and spent the money to join us. I look at the pictures often and love every one of you!
