The final countdown has started and I see a ton of new moms asking what they should pack. This is my 3rd baby, and I have packed no more than this with either of my other two.

I’m sure each hospital is different.. mine provides pads, steri bottle, diapers, wipes etc. I only add a couple diapers in my bag for when the room is out of stock, instead of ringing a nurse for an extra diaper I like to carry one with me.

Last pregnancy I wore my sports bra during labor, and it works for me for nursing so I have added that instead of a nursing bra. Whatever your preference is..

You could probably get away with even less.. but I like to have my comforts too, like my slippers and my lightweight robe! Makes it a little nicer moving around in labor or afterwards.

And lastly .. we’ve only ever had short stays, and I don’t do multiple wardrobe changes for me or my babies so therefore an outfit for going home has been plenty.. Baby just stays swaddled until home times

That’s it! I have never stressed over packing my bag.. and if anything I have more than enough. I don’t bother with my makeup, or doing much with my hair. The essentials and a couple comforts.
